Head of Fleet Operations

As Head of Fleet Operations you’ll play a key role in Voi’s continued growth and success. In summary, Fleet Operations cover everything that happens with our vehicles while they’re on the streets. Your team’s mission will be building products and processes that support our colleagues out in the markets. Your work will be essential for our Hunters, Fleet Specialists, Scooter Rangers and Ambassadors, ensuring that they have the tools they need to maintain, collect, charge and deploy the fleets in the most efficient way.

We know that this is a big job, so we made sure your squad consists of talented people from engineering, data, product and operations. Together with them you will:

  • Set a clear mission for the Fleet Operations Squad alongside with metrics measuring success of the work that is done.
  • Build an excellent product roadmap that is based on data and user research into the users in focus: Hunters, Fleet Specialists, Scooter Rangers and Ambassadors.
  • Together with the General Managers, resume shared responsibility of relevant parts of the P&L related to operations (blended task cost, deployment rate among others).
  • Set and drive performance along with KPIs related to inhouse operations, outsourced operations, in-field repairs, Search and Rescue and Parking.
  • Support direct reporting members of the team in their daily work to reach set goals and continue their professional development over time.
  • Own relationships with suppliers of equipment and tools (e.g. vehicles, charging infrastructure etc).


  • Masters degree within engineering or similar.
  • +5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably within fleet management, inhouse- and outsourced operations, and project management.
  • Experience from working in an agile environment with product management/development. 
  • Strong leader with the ability to coach and develop others. 
  • Strong project leader skills with the ability to prioritize and work cross functionally in a global organisation. 
  • Outstanding analytical skills and ability to make data driven decisions. 
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
  • Business oriented with extensive problem solving skills.  
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
